Thank you in cursive
This is how Thank you looks in school cursive: 8 letters, and the parts to watch are that ou is a high join and y goes below the line. Print the sheet below to practise it.
Thank you written once as a model, then in grey to trace, then on empty lines to write alone.

How to write it, step by step
- Write capital T and carry its ending stroke straight into the h.
- Join the rest of the letters without lifting your pencil: h, a, n, k, y, o and u.
- Watch the high join (ou): after b, o, v or w, the next letter starts at the midline, not the baseline.
- Let the y drop below the baseline and loop back up through it.
- Leave a gap about the width of a small o between words.

Tips for each letter
- T
- Adding the middle cross. Capital T has only the top bar; with a cross it becomes an F.
- h
- Making the hump too narrow, so h looks like an l and an i. Give the hump some width.
- a
- Leaving the top open, so a looks like u. Close the circle before you slant down.
- n
- Pointy tops that make n look like u upside down. The humps are round on top.
- k
- Forgetting the small loop, which turns k into an h. The little loop at the midline is what makes it a k.
- y
- Leaving the loop open below the line. Bring the tail back up so it crosses at the baseline.
- o
- Dropping the ending to the baseline. Cursive o ends high, so the next letter starts from the midline.
- u
- Rounding the bottom points into a w. Cursive u has two points at the top, not three.
All lowercase
