Editorial policy
Every worksheet and guide on Dot & Loop is checked by a person against how schools teach, before it goes live.
Who is responsible
H.A. Sabir, who has taught young children, writes and reviews the content on Dot & Loop and has the final say on what is published.
What we check against
- Handwriting: letter shapes, stroke order and joining rules from published school handwriting programs.
- Math: grade levels from the US Common Core State Standards, and the England national curriculum for times tables.
- Age guidance: typical ages, with a reminder that every child moves at their own pace.
How we use AI
Some guides and tips are drafted with the help of AI tools. A person then checks every fact, edits the wording and tests every worksheet by printing it. AI is never the final step.
Ads and independence
Dot & Loop is paid for by ads and by readers who choose to support it. Advertisers have no say over what we write, we don’t publish sponsored content, and ads are always clearly separate from the worksheets.
Mistakes
If you spot an error, email hello@dotandloop.com. We check every report, fix real mistakes quickly, and update the date on the page.
