Cursive capital letters worksheets
A practice page for each of the 26 cursive capitals. Capitals look the least like print, so children trace them more before writing alone.
The whole set: 26 pages, ages 8 to 10
Every page in the set
How to use this set
- Start once the lowercase letters are easy; capitals are usually taught in third grade.
- Do the capitals of your child’s name first, so practice feels useful.
- Write a capital then a lowercase word: B then "Ben", to learn which capitals join.
Questions parents ask
Which capitals do not join?
In the school style, B, D, F, O, P, S, V and W stand alone. The other 18 join the next letter.
Which capitals are hardest?
Q, G and Z, because they look nothing like their print forms. Give them extra tracing rows.
