How to use this set

  1. Warm up with a few loops and waves on scrap paper first.

  3. Praise smooth, joined strokes more than perfect shapes.

Questions parents ask

When should a child start cursive?

Most US schools start in second or third grade, around age 7 or 8, once print letters are steady.

Do they need to know print first?

Yes. Cursive is easier once a child can hold a pencil well and knows the letters.
