How to write the name, step by step
- Write capital C and carry its ending stroke straight into the h.
- Join the rest of the letters without lifting your pencil: h, l, o and e.
- Watch the high join (oe): after b, o, v or w, the next letter starts at the midline, not the baseline.

Tips for each letter
- C
- Leaving off the small starting loop at the top. It is what makes it a cursive C rather than a print C.
- h
- Making the hump too narrow, so h looks like an l and an i. Give the hump some width.
- l
- Making the loop so thin it disappears, so l looks like a tall i without a dot. Keep the loop open.
- o
- Dropping the ending to the baseline. Cursive o ends high, so the next letter starts from the midline.
- e
- Making the loop too big, so e looks like l. The loop stays below the midline.
