Questions parents ask

What is finger spacing?

Children put one finger after each word before starting the next, so words do not run together. It is a common classroom habit.

My child writes the sentence too big for the line. What helps?

Practise on the alphabet sheets first, or print the sentence sheet and let them write every other word on a new row until the size settles.
